Noah Griffin is the newest member of the Tiburon Town Council He has been a fixture of Bay Area politics, arts and culture for his entire life.
A graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, he earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School before embarking on his several careers -- He served on the staffs of SF Mayor Frank Jordan, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and Charles Schwab; hosted talk radio shows on KGO, KFRC and K-101; written op-ed pieces and served on the editorial board of the San Francisco Examiner; written for the Boston Globe; and appeared frequently in the Marin Independent Journal, where he served on the editorial board.
Noah’s artistic career included the San Francisco Boys Chorus, the San Francisco Cosmopolitan Opera, and performances with Paul Robeson, Leontyne Price, Johnny Ray, and Nat “King” Cole. He founded the Cole Porter Society which he directs with his wife Meredith.
