Dr. Emma Osong is founder of Women for Permanent Peace and Justice (WPPJ), women’s advocacy organization and an accomplished engineer in aerospace systems. She is the author of “UNRAVELED: A Personal Journey into Conflict, War, and Diplomacy,” an exceptional work in storytelling and word engineering. In UNRAVELED, the author weaves an emotional yet inspiring story of her daughter (Praxie) and her triumph over a medical prognostic that she will never walk again with that of the recolonized people of the former Southern Cameroons facing genocidal violence, fighting for and determined to overcome. Emma shows anew why survival and human transformation remain at the heart of all health challenges and violent conflict.
