Mar. 5: Hugh Coppen The Keystone Conundrum

Hugh Coppen’s talk “The Keystone Conundrum” delves into the pivotal roles certain species play in ecosystems, akin to his discussions about keystone species in nature. In his work with Tasimba, he often draws parallels between ecological principles and leadership lessons, highlighting how certain animals maintain the health of their environments. His talk will challenge us to reflect on our own impact and encourage us to become “keystone individuals” who actively contribute to the well-being of their communities and the broader environment.

After Hugh spoke to GGBC he became an active member of the GGBC. He is a leadership expert and former CEO who focuses on developing leadership effectiveness among senior executives. His company Tasimba takes leaders on safaris in Africa. These experiences are crafted to inspire and transform, emphasizing the profound lessons the natural world offers in leadership and sustainability.
