Brooke Jenkins and Don du Bain are two of 61 Assistant District Attorneys who left the San Francisco District Attorney's Office since DA Chesa Boudin assumed office. They joined the Safer SF Without Boudin Campaign as volunteer spokespeople last October.
At the time of Brooke's resignation from the DA’s office in October 2021, she was assigned to the Homicide Unit. Prior to being promoted to the Homicide Unit in April 2020, Brooke was assigned to the Child and Sexual Assault Unit and previously served as the Hate Crimes Prosecutor. Brooke has completed over 25 criminal jury trials. She served in the DA’s office for over seven years.
Don has served as a prosecutor for the past 30 years prior to resigning his position in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in October 2021, at the same time as Brooke Jenkins, in order to join the campaign to recall District Attorney Chesa Boudin.
