“Betsy Rosenberg began her broadcast career in college when a gap year trip to Europe led her to ABC Sports and the Winter and Summer Olympics. Bitten by the broadcasting bug—but not really a sports fan—she went on to a successful journalism career in radio news.

After two decades as a reporter and anchor for the CBS network — both KCBS Radio locally and nationally -doing top of the hour news, Betsy left to exclusively cover environmental issues.

She went on to host and produce the NATION’S FIRST daily “green show”on Air America Radio and later the internet.

Betsy is now co-founder and chief content creator for GreenTV.com. where she interviews leading eco-experts for her series, Meet the Solutionaries, and, on the job — she learns — how to run a start-up!

She will share highlights of her media journey, some of her favorite interviews, reasons for her passion about our planet and what motivates her commitment to climate change.
