GAIL FERREIRA, Ph.D., a focused senior executive with deep expertise in technology and digital transformation, has more than 25 years’ experience spanning the intersection of technology and business. She is an expert in agile frameworks holding multiple agile certifications including a Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC5), Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master (DALSM), Certified Professional Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).

She also holds a Project Management Professional certification (PMP), and has volunteered for the Project Management Institute. She serves as director for The Silicon Valley Project, a collaboration between PMI-Silicon Valley and UCSC Silicon Valley Extension. Ferreira is a technology expert and keynote speaker at major conferences for the Agile Alliance, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and the Project Management Institute. She has served on the UCSC Extension Project and Program Management Advisory Board since 2020.
