John Crowley has led a fascinating and diverse life. Born and raised in Ireland, he spent his teenage years working in his family's pub on the outskirts of Dublin. After earning a Computer Science degree, he moved to Germany and worked as a Unix systems programmer for Siemens, developing ticketing and reservation systems for airlines, trains, and hotels. Later, he immigrated to the United States, settling in Petaluma, CA, and continued his career by developing systems for the cruise line industry.
